Global Account Manager for what and whom?
As Global Account Manager you will be part of the brilliant problem solvers in IK Subsea. You will be the commercial spearhead. You’ll handle a portfolio of clients, which will take your around the world.
The customers are Major and Supermajor Oil and Gas companies
They are technology driven companies in the forefront of their peers. They operate on all continents in the energy segment upstream oil and gas.
You’ll be responsible for originating sales for a portfolio account within the IK Subsea business area. You will own the customer relationship and create customer engagement.
You will deploy teams to identify new opportunities, build the opportunity pipeline, develop and execute sales strategies. You will also support the Service Delivery function to ensure flawless execution.
This is a strategic position
It’s focused on the long-term vision and mid-term execution. You will own all processes and activities that enable the organization to achieve the business objectives for the specific global account. You will be responsible for driving market share and revenue growth.
Depending on the market activity and business complexity, you may at one point oversee a team of Account Managers.
Business development and strategy initiatives
Develop and execute business plan
Drive customer engagement
Develop and maintain sales according to defined KPIs
Nurture close customer relationships – secure customer satisfaction
Contribute with market trend and customer information
Participation in various external and internal forums
Who are you?
You know the oil & gas industry like the back of your hand. You are customer focused and dedicated to meeting client expectations and quality requirements. A structured and systematic extrovert with leadership and mentoring skills.
You are the entrepreneurial kind. Updated on market movements and relevant trends. You have the relevant university education. Preferably you have some 5 years’ experience from the international energy industry. And you are very fluent in English.
