IK Norway AS designed, fabricated, assembled, and are in the final phase of testing of a hydraulically driven 36” Pig Retrieval Trolley for the Mongstad Terminal modification project.
Oil production from the new Johan Sverdrup field development will be sent via a 36” oil export pipeline to the Mongstad terminal. This pipeline will be pigged regularly during production. On pig arrival at Mongstad. the new trolley will be used to recover 36” Cleaning pigs and occasional In-Line Inspection tools from the pig receiver.
